While my spirit was walking
In the twilight forest
Near the peaks
Of Carpathian Mountains
I heard the noise
Of the waterfall

The wall of water reflected
The heavenly purple color
Of Lugnasad sunset
In the water misty haze
I fancied glow
Of the far Highest Halls

Staghorned shadow stood
At the top of waterfall
Master watching over his domain

Night falcon fly
From the hills
To the point,
Were blue skies
Are merged
With the golden fields
Of Oriana

Glacial breath of
Carpathian lakes' coldness
Splashes my face
One vision
Is replaced by another,
In the cycle
Of ancient times
On the waving water surface

I saw the old temples, moonlit
Threatening faces of gods
Cutten in the wooden trunks
Remembrances of stellar whirlwind abyss

In a transe
Of waterfall noise
Twilight turned into night

The night beasts
Came out
Of the black thickets,
For the hunt
Welcoming mother moon
By their greeting howling

Silver gates are opened
On winged horses woven
Of the midnight mist,
Through the gelid tears
Of the fog
Master and heathen sisters
Fly to congregation
On the mountain top

Daughters of silver
Circling in a dance
With the stars
And the moon
Shining flower
Of fern blossoms
Bitter flower of sorcery

The celestial forge plucked
Bright shafts
Of the holy
Silver sparks

And the fires
of distant constellations
Flicker from the depths
Of the bottomless
Inky well
