Forest Ghost
Cold smooth
Surface of lakes reflects
Landscapes of sullen forests
And morose skies of the autumn
Grey heaven canvas hangs
Over the growing cold ground
Drops of rain
And howling
Of chilly October wind
Freeze heart
Of the earth
Fog of woods creeps from the gates
Of the castle stroma
Drowing in the marsh
Unsteady shadows of guards
Doomed to carry the watch
Over nocturnal land
Sharpened steel
And weight of armor
Long ago crumbled to dust
Thud of horseshoes
Echoed in the air
Riders of cold moon
Still don't know the fatigue
As I doomed
To walk eternally
The forlorned woods
Spirits of the forests
Are banished
By the new faith
Only numb shadows
Speechless, wordless
Shades of trees and stumps
Are refracted
In the pale rays
Of the moon
In a bottomless chasm
A veil of heathen tears
Cold disk, the sun
Of the dead
Still holds
The memories
Rustles of the night
Strict, gloomy landscapes
Of hills and thickets
Domain of Veles
I am a forest ghost
Spirit of majestic
Night mountains
Black tongues
Of holy rivers
Bathing in the darkness
I lived in waters
Dwelled in a stones
Breathed in a trees
I was born
Before the beginning of time
And I will stay here
Forever

Icelandic Pagan Black Metal. This is unbelievably good - seriously! I just bought the entire discography for this band & I keep coming back to every single one of their albums. They are all on another level! The instrumentals & the atmospheres are just amazing. Plus those vocals, clean or non or any other variation, are perfect each & every time! No faves & highly recommended!!! bmurator

I'd say Havukruunu is the rightful holder of the Crown and the mantle of Quorthon. Epic choirs, vikingesque themes and tales from the other times, of the Finnish paganism back in the days before our ancestors were brought to the cross and forced to kneel while feeling the bloody sword of saviour on their throats made to kiss the hand of murderers who burnt thousands, tore down our holy places and took our holy days. Eyes teary I listen to these songs, never forgiving the crimes of the cross! Peikonmieli
